An as alternative to the brown coloured engineering hardcoat, a colourable hard anodized finish is available. The abrasion hardness of the hard colour coating is less than engineering hardcoat, but significantly much harder than cosmetic anodizing.

The standard thickness of our hard colour anodizing is 40 microns. The clear hard-anodized finish is medium grey in appearance. The most appealing dyed colour is black. Other hard anodized dyed colours may have a pastel tone due to the original greyish pre-coloured anodized appearance.
